Washington Free Clinic Association

Welcome to the New WFCA website!

With funds provided by the Department of Health, the support of the Member Resources Committee, and the skilled services of Dan Baldwin at Truecast Design, we are pleased to launch this website as a resource hub for Free Clinic members of the Washington Free Clinic Association. If you work or volunteer with a member Free Clinic and would like access to the Member Resources section, please ask your clinic director to contact us and we will gladly grant access to Member Resources. If you work with a Free Clinic that is not currently a member of the WFCA, apply for membership today! As this website expands, we will include additional public resources to help individuals access needed health care.

What is the Washington Free Clinic Association?

The Washington Free Clinic Association is a non-profit 501c3 organization whose mission is to strengthen and support the Free Clinics of Washington through advocacy, education and professional networking. Free Clinics are private, non-profit, community or faith-based organizations that provide medical, dental, pharmaceutical, and/or mental health services at little or no cost to uninsured and underinsured people through the use of volunteer health professionals, community volunteers, and partnerships with other health providers. There are currently 32 identified Free Clinics in Washington today and that number is growing. The WFCA estimates that Free Clinics may have had as many as 45,000 patient visits in 2008 alone.
