The 6th Annual Washington Free Clinic Conference is scheduled for Friday September 30 - Saturday October 1st, 2011 in Vancouver, Washington. The annual meeting of the members is scheduled for Thursday evening 9/29. The WFCA Annual Conference is designed to benefit Free Clinic administrators, board members, volunteers, community partners from the public, non-profit and private sectors, and those interested in learning more about the work of Free Clinics. If you’re community is considering starting a Free Clinic, this is a great event to attend to network with other professionals who have experience starting and running a Free Clinic.

2010 Conference:Turning Challenges into Opportunities
Representatives from clinics across the state gathered in Ellensburg in September to network and strategize on how to sustain, improve and expand services to uninsured residents of Washington in the face of worsening economic conditions. As we enter the era of Health Care Reform, sessions throughout the conference focused on providing implementation updates and analysis of gaps to inform plans for growth and change in the Free Clinic community.
Highlights included a keynote address by Washington Secretary of Health Mary Selecky, an inspiring Marcia Howery Award Banquet, a tour of the Ellensburg Community Health Clinic and an informative presentation by Mark Cruise of Free Clinic Solutions.
The Washington Free Clinic Association thanks all who attended, presented and sponsored the event.
