Jane E. Jones Memorial Scholarship

We are now accepting applications for the Jane E. Jones Memorial Scholarship. Jane Jones was an ally, mentor, friend and resource to free clinics across Washington and the United States. After starting and directing the Neighborhood Free Medical Clinic in Lacey, Jane became a free clinic consultant with Empowering Community Healthcare Outreach (ECHO).

Jane and her husband, Bob, died in an accident last year. In her memory, friends and colleagues initiated this scholarship to support opportunities for networking and education. The scholarship covers full registration and possible travel support for two people from a single clinic to attend the 2016 Washington Free and Charitable Care Conference. Please note that one applicant should be a board member, and one a key staff person or volunteer. A link to the scholarship application is included here.
